One fleeting moment

My mind was clouded For a moment my hopes were shrouded. It was as if spirits I consumed, Consumed my own spirit.

I am running, passing endless train of lights on the ceiling . and passing people with different emotions

APPLE does it again ....make way for iPAD

www.miteshk.blogspot.com

ONE really needs to give this techno junkie "Mr. Setephen "steve" Jobs" a hell lota credit , he has made it a habit to come up wid products which top the charts of our aspirational wanna have product list .... mac's, airbook, iphone, ipod. and now please make way for his latest iPAD widout doubt this neww baby from apples stable is all set to rock the world and like it's tech bros it will rock it hard very hard.

"So far it really looks like an oversized iPod Touch, which is great"

"iPad" is for consumers who want to take their movies, TV shows, music, games and reading with them, be it around the house or on the go.
The iPad weighs about 1.5 pounds, is 0.5 inch thin, has a 9.7-inch display and should have a battery life of 10 hours, Jobs said. It uses what he called Apple's own 1GHz A4 chip The tablet has the company's online iTunes Store built into it, as well as YouTube in high-definition.

The tablet uses multi-touch finger gestures and swipes like the iPhone, but the iPad's "larger screen requires less swiping to navigate,"

While many of the tablet's functions — Web surfing, movie watching, music listening — can be handled on netbooks, lighter and relatively inexpensive laptops, Apple isn't viewing its tablet as a laptop without a keyboard. "Apple sees this as a personal media experience that they can create."
The tablet's "most revolutionary impact is on the way people consume media in the home," he said. "You take it from room to room, you dock it next to your bed, it becomes your alarm clock. You dock in the living room, it’s a photo frame and a video server for your TV; you dock it in the kitchen, and it displays your recipes for you."
wid a price band of about 700$ it can be a bit steep for us here in India but sure for people in states and Europe who are lukng fr a product such as kindle it can open new vistas , though coming back to us here in India 700$ might not be the very affordable considering the value for money proposition we expect  it might not be for everyone, maybe it wud sell only in metros BUT then when did Apple signified masses ---- it definitely has never been for everyone, so for mere mortals keep dreaming on , keep on iDREAMING.

Cadbury goes American. Is this healthy for British manufacturing?

The Kraft product logo

www.miteshk.blogspot.com

On January 19th, after a four-month battle, Roger Carr, chairman of Cadbury, said his board was recommending to shareholders a £11.9 billion ($19.5 billion) takeover bid by Kraft Foods, of Northfield, Illinois. Somehow, despite the blustering of politicians and the protests of organised labour, great companies like this one have been slipping out of British control.
In business terms, Kraft’s acquisition (which will go through unless rivals top the bid by January 23rd) may be a good deal for both companies. They have complementary markets across the globe in which to cross-sell their products: Cadbury is strong in India and various Commonwealth countries; Kraft is solid in continental Europe, Russia and China. Greater scale may help the two develop in the emerging markets that probably hold the key to future fortune.

the whole point behind the obvious bid and take over is WHY can’t Britain hang on to ownership of iconic brands such as Jaguar, Land Rover, the Mini, Rowntree, the Times and now Cadbury, purveyor of chocolate to children of the British empire?

is it because of the sterling or is that the whole British manufacturing sector is loosing edge ........
only FUTURE will tell , though what implications it has for the Indian corporate sector is already in process...

HAPPY HUNTING INDIAN inc's.

global warming is here to stay

www.miteshk.blogspot.com
we thought global warming is just some fad , just some stupid nosies made by those good for nothing activists , well then click on the link below.

hey guys picture in the link are directly form NASA's website , if u have taken the pain to go through the link u will realize how such huge mass of ice just broke n dissolved itself in sea just within 24 hours yes 24 HOURS..
our problem is that we do not realize how bad it can get "IT WONT HAPPEN TO ME" attitude blinds our vision

what we need to understand is nature has given us enough warnings , and may be next act will not be just a warning ( bless the souls of Haiti disaster) , it really is time to wake up and take action , dont do something very big do small things everyday and that will be enough to avert the eminent peril.
every small step such as turning engine off at red lights or avoiding plastic bags can lead to a big change .

soon we will run out of natural gas, oil etc what will happen forget about the time when they finish think of the time when they will become so scarce that their price will be 100 times of what it is now ( not a comforting thought , is it?)

all i am asking from everyone who reads are just two actions-

a) make small tweaks in ur lifestyle , to protect nature and it will go long way.

b) educate about dangers and steps to other , one who dont knw tell them , one who dont believe - convince them .

AFTER ALL IT IS OUR PLANET & WE NEED TO PROTECT IT .

thoughts 4 life

"Stop and take your time to notice things and make those things you notice matter."

www.miteshk.blogspot.com
"Believe me, when you die, it's everybody else's but your problem"

"Time is more precious than gold, more precious than diamonds, more precious than oil or any valuable treasures. It is time that we do not have enough of; it is time that causes the war within our hearts, and so we must spend it wisely."

"Anyway, it doesn't matter how much, how often, or how closely you keep an eye on things because you can't control it. Sometimes things and people just go. Just like that."
